VEHICLE RIDE SIMULATION
Servotest are the pioneers in vehicle ride simulation systems and installed one of the first systems in 1969.
These systems are designed to reproduce the vehicle responses experienced under both normal and extreme driving conditions. The most common form of these rigs is the 4-post which can easily be extended to 6 (or possibly more)-post configurations for larger vehicles.
7- & 8-post advanced road simulator systems are designed to extend the capability of 4-post rigs by superimposing a controllable pre-load on the vehicle chassis. This pre-load can be used to simulate the effects of aerodynamic down-force on motor-sports and performance vehicles.
