High-Force, High-Velocity Damper Testing

Servotest has secured in a prestigious contract to produce a high velocity / high force damper test system for one of the biggest vehicle damper manufacturers. The machine with a force of 145kN and dynamic displacement of 400mm offers a maximum test speed of 6 metres / Sec with a damper load of a massive 20kN/m/sec. Just to add to the impressive performance of this machine we should mention that it has a huge 150kN preload stage, and uses two high response 1200 litre three stage valves. Oh!, we should add that it can operate at any angle between 0 and 90 degrees to simulate almost any installation position in the vehicle and it is controlled by Servotests fibre optic linked ‘Pulsar’ controller.
